The Medical Engineering team at AGH Solutions have also achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for their quality management system, for the commissioning, maintenance and repair of medical and non-medical devices in the hospital.  The certificate was awarded after a 2 day accreditation process by BSI firstly in November 2018 and then again in January this year and the certification is valid for 3 years with annual inspections. This demonstrates that the team are committed to safety and best practice.

“We have procedures and Standard Operating Procedures for every task that we perform to ensure quality and consistency, we operate a stock control system and all parts fitted are recorded against the asset in our asset management system, all test equipment is calibrated annually and is traceable to National Standards.

We are delighted to have achieved certification, it has been a huge project that has taken us over a year to achieve and it is a credit to the hard work of my team. It gives re-assurance to the Trust that the medical devices are maintained to a quality standard and will be of real benefit for future CQC inspections. We are now looking to expand our external contracts and the ISO 9001 certification will give customers external assurance about our service.”
